The morning Sun clutched in your greasy hand
Deliberate drivel to propagate, but what’s your plan?
Come forth from your judgement and facilitate
Your few steps closer to love and away from hate
Gotta face that the odds are stacked
Against you tryna live in this world
Print lies like they’re matter of fact
And you believe it all
Cherish your pennies, just don’t buy into it
One day your mug’ll be plastered knowing they’re the real criminals
Weaponised minds make for heavy ammunition
But eyelids are batted and no ones ears are listening
The people’s war
Anymore for anymore?
Plagued with deep resentment but do as your told
Some have lost it all while other’s notes have furled
As the real sun falls and vanishes in time
Wield your inhibitions and narrow the divide
The people’s war
Anymore for anymore?
Gotta face that the odds are stacked
Against you tryna live in this world
Print lies like they’re matter of fact
And you believe it all
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024

Compelling metallic hardcore with an unusual, but welcomed take on vocals. Matching more of a sound akin to Type O Negative meets Integrity, it shreds through wonderfully varied powerful songs.
Roaring in scope, there are many moments of more traditional furiousity, but most of the album maintains an air of spectacle due to the vocals. Not theatric, but they add a presence to the album. The guitars are properly riff filled, and the drums carry everything along with battering precision. Lorenzo
